The cushion is especially ideal for sitting positions with crossed legs, i.e. in half lotus/lotus seat or in the Burmese seat, as thanks to the curved shape of the cushion there is a lot of room for the legs. Due to the slightly lower seat height (approx. 12 cm), the cushion is well suited for meditators who are already slightly more flexible in the hip joints.
