Important information Legal Disclaimer Vehicle batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. They are legally obliged to return old batteries so that professional disposal can be guaranteed. You can dispense used batteries at a municipal collection point or in the local store. When selling vehicle batteries, the following special features apply: The seller is in accordance with § 10 BattG is obliged to impose a deposit of EUR 7.50 including VAT on end users if the end user does not return a used vehicle battery to the seller at the time of purchase of the new starter battery or a signed/stamped disposal certificate (not older than two weeks) is provided. No deposit mark will be issued! When returning the old starter battery, which the dealer carries as a new battery in the product range, the latter is obliged by law to take back the battery and refund the deposit. The location of the battery return will be communicated after written or electronic contact, and will depend on the seller. Sending the used batteries by post is not permitted due to the Dangerous Goods Ordinance. You can give your old battery free of charge at many recycling yards. If you present proof of disposal (electronically or in writing and not older than two weeks), the deposit will also be refunded.
