Improved Compatibility - Works with most cars from 2000 onwards. Supports JOBD protocol (Toyota, Honda, Daihatatsu, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Nissan, Suzuki, Subaru) for Japanese cars from 1996 or newer American cars with OBD II and European cars with EOBD 2002 onwards. No batteries or chargers required. The device receives power directly through your vehicle's data connection plug. Turn off the check engine light - quickly and accurately read engine fault codes and remove trouble codes to turn off the check engine light. So need to waste money and time on the workshop. The Ancel JP700 only reads check engine light codes, this device cannot read airbag, ABS, TPMS or oil change lights. OBD-II System and Select Brand - The OBD II system works with most OBD-II vehicles with 16-pin interface from 1996 onwards. Read and clear error codes, I/M readiness, data stream, freeze frame and vehicle information. Total 6 module functions. The Select Brand feature works mainly on vehicles from 2000 or later Japanese vehicles that support the JOBD protocol. It only supports reading and clearing codes in the engine system. I/M Resdiness Monitor - Supports monitoring misfire, O2 sensor, fuel, evaporation, EGR or VVT, secondary air system, so you can know the status of the vehicle in advance. Inspection and Maintenance (I/M), required by the government by law to meet legal air standards, indicates whether the various emission-related systems on the vehicle are working properly and are ready for inspection and maintenance testing. UPDABLE - This diagnostic tool supports lifetime free software updates to fix errors or adjust the latest data. The latest software is available on Ancel's official website.
