Ready to use immediately - the Overmont Dutch Oven, unlike pots made from other material, are made of high-quality cast iron. It is already pre-fired with vegetable oil. So you can immediately use it for your family’s favourite recipes. With proper care, it will last a lifetime (or longer). Stable, comfortable handles: The pot stands out thanks to its simple, elegant design. With its two robust handles, it is made from a ‘single cast.’ The handles make it easy to lift and carry. We supply 2 silicone handle covers, as the pot can get very hot during cooking. Double function lid and frying pan. The lid of our Dutch oven can also be used as a frying pan (diameter 27 cm), e.g. for frying, deep frying or baking bread or pancakes. On the lid, you can also serve a meal at the same time. Versatile, excellent cooking - Our Dutch oven works anywhere - on the stove, in the oven or outside on an open fire. A stand is included for this purpose, on which the pot can be placed in the embers. Care instructions - After use, cleaning the fire pot is a simple thing. Clean it, then after rinsing dry it thoroughly. Then you should lightly oil the pot and lid, ideally while it is still warm, (possibly warm it up again in the oven), on the inside and outside with a cooking oil and finally wipe off the excess oil with a cloth, and you're done! This means that the pot is well protected against rust. -
